Did you have a teacher who encouraged you to write?
My 7th grade teacher, Sr. Natalie, asked our class to write about our confirmation ceremony. I wrote of mine and she sent it to the magazine of her religious order and it was published along with my picture. She did more than encourage me. She promoted me. I wish I could find her today so I could thank her again.
